10/24/2019 Associate Professor of Management Department Mishenina H.A. participated in the celebration of the 74th anniversary of the United Nations Day 2019 in Kyiv. Traditionally, meetings, discussions, and exhibitions are held all over the world on the Organization's goals and achievements.
This year, the celebration center features a new and powerful UN information campaign dedicated to sustainable development. The main idea of the campaign is to promote and achieve by Ukraine 17 Sustainable Development Goals (MDGs), which were formally approved by the UN General Assembly in 2015.
The central event of the celebration was the opening of a large-scale photo exhibition and video "Be the Change", in which Ukrainian celebrities participated and shared personal tips on how to change the world for the better now and for future generations. Recently, Ukraine has set its global goals at its highest level, following the signing by the President of Ukraine of the Decree “On Sustainable Development Goals of Ukraine for the Period until 2030”, dated September 30, 2019. This fact makes the topic of the UN Day celebration in Ukraine even more relevant.
